Local historians have recently identified and documented 58 people thus far connected with the Underground Railroad in local communities in a major collaborative effort to research and document anti-slavery activity in Oakland County.

Meet new friends, get some fresh air, and don’t forget your sneakers! We will be meeting at the adult services desk and walking the one mile loop of the trail in Powell Lake Township Park behind the library when the weather permits.
