Who are the Friends of the Library?

The Oxford Public Library Friends are dedicated volunteers and advocates for libraries who raise much needed funds, sponsor programs, special events, and host popular used book sales. They are a non-profit organization formed to promote the interests and welfare of the Oxford Public Library.

How Do I Join?

Joining the Friends of the Library is very easy and even more rewarding. Simply complete an application form (download below or pick up at the library) and affix your annual membership dues. Completing the application form only takes a few seconds of your time, but how much time you give back to your Library is limitless.

Some members give hours of time by volunteering behind the scenes, or by assisting with Friends’ sponsored events. Others help at used book sales or to write a letter to legislators supporting the Library. Others provide financial support through payment of dues.  All forms of support are appreciated.
