Winter is the best time to curl up with a book! Join our book club and read some good books, have a fun discussion, and maybe make some new friends! All books available in the Youth Department.
January Title: Poppy by Avi
Summary: Poppy is a deer mouse who lives with her family in an abandoned farmhouse. Food is getting scarce, so her father informs the family that they must move to New House where there is more food available. However, a great horned owl named Mr. Ocax acts like a ruler over the family and refuses to let them leave. Poppy decides to investigate why he is keeping them away from New House. She embarks on a dangerous adventure to get to the bottom of it and try to save her family from starvation.
