Come meet H.D. Harkness (Hark), a Morgan horse and his owners, Mary Chris and Martin Foxworthy as they share engaging facts about the great impact horses have had on human history. The program explores the evolution of horses from the ancient Dawn Horse to the modern Morgan.

Participants will be able to pose for pictures with Hark and the first 30 people/families will receive a free copy of Hark! Follow My Hoofbeats, the first book in the Hoofbeats Through History book series.

This program will be held outside next to the library (between the library and the playground on the south side of the building).

(Rain Date: Sunday, September 14, 2:00 p.m.)

(This program is made possible through a grant from the Four County Community Foundation)
