Event Details
Get on the bus to the DIA! Wear your most comfortable walking shoes for this all day excursion! A bus will pick up participants at the front door of the Oxford Public Library before 9 am and take them to the Detroit Institute of Arts for a guided tour. We will be gone all day, so please bring money for lunch at the Kresge Court or the Café DIA as lunch is not included. You must reside in Oxford Township or the Village of Oxford to go on this tour; please bring your picture ID with your current address to receive a free general admission ticket.
Itinerary for the Day:
8:45 am: Meet at the front entrance of the library to load onto the bus. (Library won't be open yet, so plan accordingly)
9:00 am: Bus leaves for the DIA.
10:00 am: Arrive at the DIA for a one hour guided tour.
10 am-11 am: Guided Tour of the DIA.
11:00 am- 2:45 pm: Explore the DIA at your own pace and get lunch (not provided as part of the trip).
2:45 pm: Meet back to load onto the bus.
3:00 pm: Leave for Oxford Public Library.
@4:00 pm: Arrive at Oxford Public Library.
