Program Description

Event Details

With the urban sprawl so close to home, the wild life is still very present and now, often in our backyards.  Join Jill Brzezinski from Buds & Blooms Gardening to talk about plant suggestions that deer tend to stay away from, and products that help keep them away from your existing gardens.  Jill will be happy to answer any questions at the end of the program.

Jill founded the company, Buds & Blooms Gardening, based on her love of the outdoors with the support of her husband & family. She grew up in the city of Royal Oak and helped her family with small home vegetable gardens.  Jill has many fond memories working in the garden with her grandfather. As she blossomed, she worked at several greenhouses, gaining more knowledge and more love for the green industry.  Jill raised her children while taking horticulture classes, one at a time, and graduated in 2013 with a degree in Landscape Horticulture. As her children are grown and have homes of their own, Jill is fortunate to dig even deeper into her love of so many new gardens.  Her passion grows every year as she has expanded to include beekeeping, maple syrup making, and chicken tending.
