DESCRIPTION:The Youth Summer Reading Program is for children ages 3 to goi
 ng into 6th grade. Those going into 6th grade have the option of staying w
 ith the youth program or moving up to the Teen Program. Registration: Jun
 e 5 – July 2Two ways to participate: In person with paper log and sticke
 rs or online through Beanstack. The two programs are identical, it’s jus
 t that one is done with a paper log and stickers (in-person) and the other
  is completely online (Beanstack Program).In person (paper log/stickers): 
 Register in person, online (scroll to the very bottom of this page) , or b
 y phone (248) 969-9491. If you register online or by phone you must come i
 n to pick up your materials by July 2.How it works: Upon registering, you 
 will be given a reading log and stickers. You will keep track of the days 
 you read beginning on the day you register. For every day that you read (o
 r someone reads to you) for at least 20 minutes, you put a sticker on your
  reading log. Each time you read 5 days, you will earn a reading coin. Sav
 e up your reading coins to buy books in our Story Room Bookstore where we 
 have a large selection of books for all ages. Shopping will be available a
 t the end of the program. It is your responsibility to keep track of your 
 coins. We cannot replace lost coins.Online (Beanstack Program): Register a

 mobile device NOT on this page. You will log everything online through Bea
 nstack.
